Harper Beckham Received Mixed Reactions for Wearing a Dress That Looks ‘Too Old’ on Her 12th Birthday: ‘She’s 12, Not 21,’ Says Fan

In June 2023, Victoria posted family photos featuring her husband and kids, including daughter-in-law, actress Nicola Peltz and captioned it:

Victoria and David’s only daughter Harper, born in July 2011, recently celebrated her 12th birthday ahead of her actual birthday on July 10.

The youngster had a Prada party celebration, and her famous mom took to her Instagram to share pictures from the event. Harper donned a lilac satin dress for her special day at the brand’s café in Harrods.

She posed alongside her mom in her outfit, a bespoke mini-me dress from Victoria’s brand. Harper accessorized her look with Prada’s Re-edition 2000 satin mini bag.

The mother-and-daughter duo was joined by the family patriarch, David, including Romeo and Cruz. A delighted Harper seems to have had a blast on her birthday festivities.

The Daily Mail posted photos from the celebrations on their Facebook account, and social media users were not impressed with Harper’s outfit choice.

One person commented, “I think she is lovely, but I think that dress is too old for her. She is only twelve. But that’s me old fashioned.” Another Facebook user said, “It looks like lingerie. She’s 12, not 21. Let her stay young for a while.”

Despite the criticism from some fans, others focused on Harper’s appearance and left some positive comments on her mother’s Instagram post showing them posing together. “She is adorable!” one individual wrote.

The world-famous sports star’s beloved wife also commemorated their milestone on her Instagram, sharing multiple pictures of the duo’s memories.

One shot showed the pair holding hands, another displayed David kissing the mother of his kids on the side of her head, and the last showed them enjoying a glass of wine together.

The former member of the music group Spice Girls penned, “Still holding hands and still laughing (with you not just at you). I love you so much.”

Victoria also shared a video from the couple’s wedding day showing them cutting an oversized cake. The lovebirds wed in 1999 and still appear madly in love, judging from their recent public outings.
