Sabrina Carpenter’s Dad Is Rumored to Be the Villain in Her Track ‘Emails I Can’t Send’

David Carpenter is Sabrina Carpenter’s dad, who supports her career. Unfortunately, fans believe he is the person Sabrina talks about in her recent song, suggesting that he lied to their family.

Before becoming the singer-songwriter she is known today, Sabrina Carpenter was a Disney star. She is famous for her role as Rowan Blanchard in the series “Girl Meets World.”

She first came out with the single “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying” in 2014. In 2016, she released a successful top-charting album, “EVOlution,” followed by “Singular: Act II” in 2019. Three years later, she released another album, “Emails I Can’t Send,” her highest-charting release.

Although she focused on her music, Sabrina continued her acting career and appeared in “Tall Girl” and “Clouds.” She also joined the Broadway “Mean Girls” cast as Cady Heron.

Since releasing her “Emails I Can’t Send” track, rumors have swirled that Sabrina’s dad was the antagonist in the song.

Sabrina is the daughter of Elizabeth and David Carpenter, who have been married for three decades. Elizabeth and David had three beautiful daughters, Sarah, Shannon, and Sabrina. His eldest child, Cayla, was born during a previous relationship.

As she recalled, she was once very shy with a high-pitched voice, but as time passed, and with the help of her father, she progressed. Sabrina once joined a competition and had her father help her stand out with his video editing. She said:

“My dad found out how to create videos and edit videos along the way, and I definitely just broke out of my shell. I learned how to perform. I learned how to act and feel the music.”

When the competition was over, Sabrina realized she was in love with performing and wanted to pursue the craft as a career. Her parents would drive her to auditions until she landed her first guest role in “Law & Order: SVU.”

While she has been in a great relationship with her father, Sabrina’s “Emails I Can’t Send” song seems to be about David. The song’s lyrics, “Were you lying to me and the family?” and “Don’t think I’ll find forgiveness as fast as mom did,” suggests that David cheated on Elizabeth.

Sabrina also included how she can’t trust and love nice guys as the possibility of them cheating always looms in her head. The artist was previously linked to a few actors.

Fans have since taken to social media with their sentiments, assuming Sabrina’s song is about David. However, the artist never confirmed nor denied the rumors.
