The couple confirmed their engagement on November 25, 2022, through a sweet Instagram post featuring a snapshot of Galvin’s ring. Platt shared a series of photos with the caption, “He agreed to hang out forever,” while Galvin added on his post, “I said yeehaw and then cried for like 7 hours.”
Six months later, the two decided to take their engagement to the next level. On May 29, 2023, Platt revealed on his Instagram Story that Galvin proposed back to him. The design of the ring that Platt received is the same as the one he proposed to Galvin with, albeit with a sapphire stone instead of a diamond. In the photos accompanying Platt’s post, the couple can be seen sharing a kiss in front of a beautiful sunset while wearing party hats and a sash indicating Platt as the “Groom.”
