In a recent Instagram post, Drew Barrymore gave fans a glimpse at her simple yet stylish bathroom as she documented her bathing mishap in a hilarious video, where the actress and mother revealed that she had not shaved in three months.

After attempting to take a bath and practice self-grooming, Barrymore hopped on Instagram to share a video of her house alarm blaring in the background as she stood in her bathroom. “You can not make this stuff up,” the actress said before expressing her excitement to finally shave after three months.

However, wrapped in a towel and with shaving cream beneath her armpits, Barrymore admitted to her fans in the Instagram video that her time for self-care and finally shaving after months had been cut short as she had to turn off her house alarm. “Just a moment that I will not let get the best of me… I’ll laugh instead,” she captioned the post.

In the comments section, fans shared their surprise at Barrymore’s ordinary bathroom. “She’s so stunning, and her bathroom is so… normal??!! I was expecting some gigantic freestanding tub embossed with gold or something,” one fan wrote.

The actress relocated from Los Angeles to an apartment in New York, where she currently resides, so that her children could be close to their paternal grandparents following their mom and dad’s divorce. The mother of two also has a home in the Hamptons she frequents on weekends.
