Rihanna has had every eye on her since she revealed she was pregnant with her first baby in January. The talented singer/fashion mogul shared the good news with a photoshoot that captured her baby bump in New York City. 

A source close to her told People that she was quite “excited to be a mom” and could not be happier because it was all happening in her own way and on her time.

A$AP Rocky was also reported to be over the moon with the news, and the source claimed that the two were very giddy about the concept of having a child.

Throughout the nine months she carried her baby, Rihanna stayed true to her title as a bold fashionista, making it a habit to showcase different iconic maternity styles that usually left her protruded belly exposed. Now that the baby has been born, what do we know about her child?

RIHANNA AND A$AP ROCKY’S JOURNEY TO PARENTHOOD 

A$AP Rocky was infatuated with Rihanna long before she started paying attention to him, According to sources, the pair were friends while she dated billionaire Hassan Jameel, but after their relationship ended in 2020, rumors of her romantic involvement with the rapper started to swirl.

Later on, a source close to her stated that she was simply “hanging out” with A$AP Rocky and is not in a rush to attach tags to what they shared. Later that year, reports from People confirmed that their relationship was official after they were spotted at the Beatrice Inn in New York City. 

They remained close-mouthed about their dating status, but the pair were photographed a couple of other times that same month, and on December 9, a source revealed that they had been inseparable for weeks and that she was very “happy dating” him.

Late December saw them packing on some PDA, and by April 12, 2021, outings that saw them spending more time together were recorded. May saw A$AP Rocky confess his feelings for the fashion mogul, calling her his woman and the love of his life.

Later in August, a source revealed how enamored they were with each other and claimed the romance came easily because they were friends first before anything else. Now they have added a child to the mix, and fans expect them to fall even deeper in love.

Sources close to A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have claimed that their child, a healthy baby boy, arrived on May 13 in Los Angeles, where they remain while the new mother recovers, but nobody knows what he will be called.
