Thomas Gallagher thought he could trick his three-year-old son into getting a small toy for himself, but he was surprised at how he could think strategically and eventually outsmart him.

Auggie Gallagher, a three-year-old from Michigan, outsmarted his father, Thomas Gallagher. The father shared a video on Instagram, which has garnered about 72 million views.

The three-year-old still did not let his father trick him with his words. So he slowly carried the big box of toys back to the shelf, held both sides with his tiny hands, and lifted it again. He made sure it was secure enough for him to hold with one hand, and his father was shocked at how his son had just outsmarted him.
