Pauly Shore’s Gay Comments about Himself Though He Was Married Once

Comedian and actor Pauly Shore has been rumored to be gay. However, he once had a wife with whom he met on his iconic MTV show, and later a girlfriend in the late 1990s.

Many people continue to wonder if Shore has ever been in a relationship.

In Esquire’s September 2020 “Explain This” video, Shore addressed his marital status. He confirmed that he had been married in the past, but the relationship was very short-lived.

He wed during his self-titled MTV show and had a contest where he invited people to marry him. He received thousands of letters and chose a lucky woman named Cammie to marry and divorce on the same day.

Cammie flew from a small town in the middle of the country, and they had a legal wedding. However, they had to nullify the marriage afterward. Shore claimed they were already divorced by the time she boarded a plane. “At least I think I’m divorced,” he said.

Many people continue to wonder if Shore has ever been in a relationship. In a 1994 interview, he explained why he never had a girlfriend:

The comedian recalled being with her when Wilsey died in the hospital. He spoke about his late girlfriend, describing her as the “nicest, most beautiful girl” he had ever met.
