Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been handed a new nickname by the Palace staff.
The famous couple will be the protagonists of the upcoming documentary ‘Harry & Meghan’ and streaming platform Netflix have already dropped the trailer of the six-part series, which is scheduled to be released on Thursday.

Ahead of the release, a source told The Mirror that Royal Family staff nicknamed Meghan and Harry ‘The Kardashians’ because of the way they are trying to attract attention.
“There is a completely united front from the King and his family concerning the numerous attempts to privately make peace with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which sadly have once again resulted in the other side wishing to air their repeated grievances to the world,” the source said.
“If there is a need to respond to anything in the upcoming series then you can be assured that response will be swift and robust.”
Meghan Markle’s other nicknames
It has been revealed in the past that Meghan Markle was given various other nicknames by palace staff during her time there, such as “Duchess of Difficult”.
She was also called “Di 2” and “Di Lite”, in reference to Princess Diana.
The time of Harry and Meghan’s trailer release
Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, has also discussed the timing that the trailer was released.
It happened while Price William and Kate Middleton were in United States, where Harry and Meghan have been living since 2020.
“Putting the trailer out while William and Kate are in Boston looks like an ambush by Harry and Meghan,” Seward stated.
“They are quite good at that kind of thing and timing is everything, but looking at how well the Prince and Princess of Wales have been received in Boston by the crowds and the great community work they are doing, I don’t think the attempted ambush has worked.”
It seems that there will be many similar tales of private nicknames and accusations of foul play over the coming days, as the various details from the Netflix docuseries become public and generate headlines all around the world.
