The Couple Next Door has been airing on UK TV screens since late November, but how many episodes of the Channel 4 show will there be?
While the full series has been available online since November 27, the series has also been airing on Channel 4, with the penultimate episode of the show on tonight. Featuring Eleanor Tomlinson as Evie, who moves to a new house with her husband Pete, played by Alfred Enoch, the show focuses on a relationship which develops with one of her neighbours.
The couple meet their new neighbours Becka and Danny, played by Jessica de Gouw and Sam Heughan and things suddenly become more complicated. Becka and Danny are in an open relationship, and the lives of the couples become more and more interlinked as Evie begins to fall for Danny.

Their other neighbour, Alan, played by Hugh Dennis, is obsessed with Becka, adding another complication as he becomes increasingly obsessed. The show itself is based on a Dutch drama called the New Neighbours.
The show was also filmed here in Yorkshire with episodes filmed in Leeds and in Baildon, Bradford. There are six episodes altogether and the finale of the show will air on December 14.
As for a series two, so far there has been no news on if the show will get a second series. The Dutch version of the show ran for four series, but the UK version is separate and so may end after the first or may run for many more series. For now, worryingly, Channel 4 remains tight lipped.
