If you have children you will likely be all too familiar with the problem of overpriced summer holidays. As soon as it reaches the end of June the cost of holidays almost doubles, meaning it can be unaffordable for a lot of families to get abroad.
However, one mum and cheap travel expert, Jen, who runs the blog, Travel Mum, has shared her expert advise on how she managed to get an all inclusive family holiday for just £400 per person – and you can too by following her savvy booking hack.
The TikTok travel influencer posted a video explaining how she booked an all inclusive holiday for her family during the Easter school holidays for just £1,228 for the three of them.

She captioned the video: “Have you tried searching like this? Lots of you struggle to find decent priced family holidays during the school holidays – package trips with free child places, transfers and luggage can work out great value if you know where to look!
“Jet2holidays are our favourite package provider as they are incredibly reliable and offer some great value trips. They currently have £50pp off their holidays and allow you to only pay a small deposit to secure the price.
“If you’re looking for just a couple of days away, self catering, don’t want any additional luggage and are happy to use public transport to get to your accommodation, DIY booking is a great option.”
Intrigued by the hack, Yorkshire Live reporter Megan Shaw had a look for deals herself and managed to find a weeks all inclusive holiday to Ibizia for £565 per person during the Easter holidays.
She also managed to find a week to the hugely popular Siam Park Waterpark hotel in Tenerife, that has “incredible facilities for children”, for £600 per person after playing around a little with dates.
