Ravens’ Matthew Judon threatens to ‘leak’ photos of an ESPN reporter at a strip club over report

Baltimore Ravens star Matthew Judon is threatening to release photos of ESPN reporter Jamison Hensley at a strip club in retaliation for an online story that the two-time Pro Bowl linebacker considers untrue.

‘I’m waiting on your ESPN sourced apology or I’m leaking these photos I got with you in the strip club,’ Judon wrote on Instagram following a Twitter exchange with Hensley.

Judon, 28, took issue with Hensley’s claim that he declined a long-term offer from the Ravens that would have paid about $16.5 million annually. It is not known if the Ravens’ reported offer to Judon was ever made or if any such pictures of Hensley exist.

Ravens spokespeople have not responded to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

In its statement, ESPN stood by Hensley’s reporting and condemned Judon’s threats: ‘We stand by Jamison Hensley’s reporting, and Hensley added Matt Judon’s perspective within the story. Regardless, the since-deleted personal attacks toward him were completely uncalled for.’

One issue that Judon has with Hensley’s report is its timeline, which seems to conflict with protocol laid out in the NFL’s collective-bargaining agreement (CBA).

Judon is coming off a season in which he received the Ravens’ franchise tag – a designation that teams can use on one of their unrestricted free agents that binds the player to the club for at last one year under certain conditions. It was created to limit player movement in the NFL and typically results in a one-year raise for a player, who is often upset to be denied a chance at a longer, more lucrative contract.

According to Hensley’s report on ESPN.com, a source said ‘the Ravens tried to strike a long-term deal with Judon this summer’ by offering him a contract that paid $16.5 million annually, but he declined.

The report isn’t necessarily untrue, but if it is accurate, then the Ravens may have violated by the NFL’s CBA by negotiating a long-term deal after the free agency window closed on July 15, 2020. After that date, the two parties were forbidden by the CBA from negotiating a deal. Contact extensions can only be finalized after the season.

‘Where @jamisonhensley lying butt at? I got time today,’ Judon wrote, initiating the Twitter spat with Hensley. ‘Bro you have to stop lying, I know you want clicks and like and wanna be the people’s camp but stop lying. That weak.’

Hensley appeared to remain professional.

‘Hi Matthew,’ he responded. ‘I was told that Ravens offered you a deal similar to [Packers linebacker] Za’Darius’ [Smith] ($16.5M per season) earlier this season and it was declined.

‘If you have a comment, I would certainly add that to the piece. I’ve always been fair with you. Thanks and welcome back to Twitter.

Judon responded: ‘This isn’t true who told you this if you can’t tell me that we’re all@going to have to think you pulling stuff outta no where.’

Hensley, remaining calm, offered to speak with Judon away from social media.

‘I will definitely add your response to the piece,’ tweeted the ESPN reporter. ‘If you ever have an issue with any of my reporting, I would be happy to listen and explain. I’ve always aimed to cover you in a respectful manner in your five years in Baltimore. Hope you have a great offseason.’

That is when Judon switched platforms and threatened to share photos of Hensley at a strip club.

‘I know ya’ll don’t because I just found out this year but you have about a month to sign a long term deal after being franchised tagged,’ Judon wrote on his Instagram story. ‘If a deal doesn’t get done in that time. Ain’t no deal or no talking between the two parties. @jamison.hensley so I’m waiting on your ESPN sourced apology or I’m leaking these photos I got with you in the strip club.’

A standout at Division II Grand Valley State in Michigan, Judon was a fifth-round pick of the Ravens in 2016, but has proven to be a steal, recording 227 tackles and 34.5 sacks over five seasons.
