Tom Brady’s son with Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, is also known as Jack Edward Moynahan. He was born when Brady was already dating his current wife, Gisele Bundchen, making their family dynamics quite interesting.

John “Jack” Edward Thomas is the eldest son of Tom Brady, who was previously featured in an Instagram birthday post. Jack is turning 15 this year, and fans can’t wait to catch a glimpse of him on Brady’s Instagram.

Last year, when he turned 14, the quarterback posted a photo of his teen on a golf course alongside a sweet caption about Jack’s selflessness and growth.

“I am so proud of the young man you are. You always try your best, you put others first, and you bring so much joy to our lives,” the celebrant’s father wrote. “This picture brings back some special memories and I can’t wait to kick your butt on the golf course again soon!”

Jack is the son of Brady with Bridget Moynahan, who they welcomed after their two-year relationship ended. Jack was born in August 2007, when his father was already in a relationship with Gisele Bundchen. The supermodel officially became his step-mother in 2009, joined by siblings Benjamin in 2009 and Vivian in 2012.

Admittedly, Bundchen was not happy to know that her then-boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend of two years was pregnant with his child. “I felt my world had been turned upside down. Needless to say, that wasn’t an easy time, but it was a time that brought about so much growth,” she said.

Things changed when Jack was born as the former Victoria’s Secret model accepted and loved Jack as her “bonus son.” She said, “I wanted to be there for Jack and Tom and help them have a close relationship.”

Meanwhile, Brady and Bridget maintained a good relationship despite their separation. Their comfortable relationship allows the actress to congratulate the athlete on his successes, such as Super Bowl wins, and him to greet her on birthdays. She previously said, as reported by E! News:

“Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together, and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child but also loved our child as if he was their own. I don’t think you can ask for more than that.”

Like Brady, the “Blue Bloods” star has also moved on with her life and married Andrew Frankel. “My son is surrounded by love,” she said, referring to all the people who care about Jack.

Only time can tell what Jack’s future in sports may be. However, he does enjoy watching games with his father, including the Michigan Wolverines, in December 2021. After the match, Brady revealed that he hopes to one day see his son on the same stage. He said:

“I had a little future Wolverine, my son Jack, sitting on the bed with me as I was jumping around, and we were wresting, and I said, ‘That’s where you’re gonna be! You’re gonna be in the ‘Big House’ someday. You’re gonna be the starting quarterback for Michigan.'”

On the other hand, Bundchen believes that their children should choose their career paths without Brady’s influence. “My wife was like, ‘Just let him be what he wants to be for God’s sakes!” Brady added. With his retirement, Brady may have more than enough time to steer his son in the same direction.

There may be a high chance of that happening, as Bridget once mentioned that Jack dreams of becoming a professional athlete like Brady, particularly a soccer player or swimmer. Fans can’t wait to see what Jack’s career in sports will look like one day.
