EXCLUSIVE: Veteran talent agent and Take 3 Talent founder Natasha Matallana Marken and manager-attorney Sherry Kayne, the former founder of Moxie Artists, have partnered to launch new bi-coastal management and production company Rebel Creative Group in collaboration with American High, the full-service production company spearheaded by Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps.

With offices in Los Angeles and New York, the company will rep actors, writers, directors, producers, musicians and more. It will produce in all areas of entertainment, including television, film, theater, commercial, animation, branding, and music.

Marken and Kayne came to partner with The Binge producer American High after placing clients in a number of the company’s projects over the years. Under the partnership, the Rebel Creative founders will team with American High to co-produce new projects, also providing a management hub for writers, director and actors affiliated with the company. Going forward, Rebel talent will star in and produce projects alongside American High, as well.

Also joining Rebel are Shannon McHale Schachter (formerly of Take 3 Talent), Marc Shaer (formerly of Managed Performance Group), Lisa Rubenstein (the longime casting director formerly of Rubenstein Management), Taylor O’Neal (formerly of Moxie Artists) and Jennifer Gonzalez (formerly of Take 3 Talent).

In just five years — and in spite of the Covid pandemic — American High has put out more than 15 movies. Notable titles from the company include Big Time Adolescence, The Ultimate Playlist of Noise, The Binge, The Wedding Ringer, Crush, and Murder Mystery 2.
