It seems Jessica Simpson is passing down those fashion genes.
The singer and designer, 43, recently had a very glamorous mommy-and-me moment with her 11-year-old daughter Maxwell in an adorable twinning moment.
Taking to Instagram, Simpson shared a handful of sweet photos of herself with the tween, where the two were dressed in coordinating animal-printed jackets.
While Simpson played coy in caption, simply adding a side-eye emoji to the post, the two seemed to be dressed up for a special occasion.
Underneath the pop star’s fuzzy outerwear, Simpson wore a curve-hugging black bodysuit, which she paired with layers of necklaces, multiple statement rings, and a shiny pair of boots.
She also sported long, red nails that popped against the otherwise neutral colored ensemble and accessorized with a thin black headband.
Maxwell’s outfit was a tad more on the casual side, although she still showed off her own playful sense of style.
Instead of going for a classic leopard fur coat like her mom, the preteen wore a cropped alternative, which she styled with a black crop top, jeans, and a dainty drop necklace.
Simpson’s younger sister Ashlee Simpson was also in attendance, although the “Pieces of Me” singer opted out of the animal print theme and wore a dark brown fur coat instead.
Fans loved the family pics, with one commenting, “such a gorgeous fam! ❤️” and another wrote, “beautiful blood line✨”
Others also declared the trio in their “mob wife era,” referencing the viral trend replacing the “clean girl aesthetic” on TikTok.
It’s possible that Maxwell is already gearing up to follow in her famous mom’s footsteps.

While the duo have no doubt had some cute times in the public eye, it hasn’t come without criticism. Recently, Simpson parenting style came under fire after she let Maxwell wear a corset-style belly shirt to an event.
