Titan Jewell Weatherspoon Has a Passion for Dinosaurs – Facts about Kelly Rowland’s Son

Titan Jewell Weatherspoon was born into a world where one of the most famous entertainment couples, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, are simply Auntie BB and Uncle Jay.

After giving birth to Titan Jewell Weatherspoon, Kelly Rowland took a playful dig at her husband by saying she now has to take care of two babies. Her baby boy has grown up to be an imaginative child with an ear for music.

Along with his producer father, the youngster presented his mother with the Award of Courage from amfAR at a star-studded gala in Los Angeles in November 2022.

The Birth of a Titan

On November 4, 2014, Rowland and her husband, Tim Weatherspoon, welcomed their first son, Titan Jewell Weatherspoon. His daddy selected his name, which has an unknown family significance. On his eighth birthday, his mom said:

“I am so grateful to be your Mother! You have blessed my life in a way that truly blows my mind!”

His bio on his 14k-strong Instagram account decrees: “I’m Young, Gifted, and Black!!!!” Evidence of this can be found in his fluency in Spanish at three and his preference for whale documentaries as entertainment.

While recording her yet-to-be-released follow-up studio album to 2013’s “Talk A Good Game,” Rowland used Titan as a sounding board. The proud mama said:

“It’s been awesome having him in the studio because he’s very honest, and he has a very cool ear.”

The youngster is heard singing Jay Z and Beyonce’s song “Nice” acapella in the back of a car in a June 2018 video. He also has an affinity for dinosaurs and believes they “are alive and well in our imaginations.”

Rowland shared a video of Titan channeling one of the former titans in nature conservation, Steve Irwin, in March 2021. Like his late hero, he fearlessly approaches a (toy) snake, which he describes as “highly venomous,” with “good” camouflage abilities.

The mini naturalist was applauded in the comment section for his Australian accent by Jessica Alba, and an Australian fan dubbed him an “honorary Aussie.” In contrast, others demanded his skin routine from his mom.

Who Is Kelly Rowland’s Husband, Titan’s Father?

According to a news report, Rowland started dating Tim, a manager and producer, in 2011. The two initially got to know each other in a professional capacity. He fell in love with the former “X Factor” judge on their first date, while she was taken by date three.

Tim executive-produced the “Merry Liddle Christmas” trilogy starring his wife as Jacquie Liddle and the reality series “Chasing Destiny.” The producer goes by “Tim Spoon” on social media.

The couple built their relationship as equal partners on a foundation of respect – and incredible chemistry. The duo married on May 9, 2014, in Costa Rica in an intimate wedding with reportedly only 30 guests, which included childhood friend Beyoncé.

Titan Weatherspoon Is a Loving Big Brother to Noah

Kelly Rowland revealed her second pregnancy with a cover shoot for Women’s Health in October 2020. Though initially hesitant, the songstress decided to do the daring cover during the pandemic to highlight the importance of life.

Noah Jon Weatherspoon was born January 21, 2021, or as the singer excitedly pointed out in the birth announcement, “the 21st day, of the 21st year, of the 21st Century.” Titan is seen looking tenderly at his little brother in the image.

Little Noah got his Insta account a week and a half after his birth, which sits on 5,000 followers at the time of writing. Rowland spoke in 2020 about being scolded on social media by someone who disagreed with how she shared images of Titan.

The Destiny’s Child star recalls her response, “you do things your way, and I do things mine. And while I respect your opinion, I don’t have to take it. I don’t have to listen to it, and I’m also not your child.”
