The full cast for season 32 of Dancing With the Stars is set, and for the first time it includes an active member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Xochitl Gomez, who played America Chavez in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, will be part of the show’s cast for season 32. ABC revealed the remaining 11 contestants Wednesday on Good Morning America after previously announcing the casting of Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, The Bachelorette’s Charity Lawson and Jamie Lynn Spears.

Gomez is the first actor from the MCU to compete on DWTS while also being an active part of Marvel’s film and TV universe. Zendaya finished second on the show’s 16th season in 2013, but that was well before she was cast in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The celebrity cast for the coming season, which will run simultaneously on ABC and Disney+, also includes Buffy the Vampire Slayer and How I Met Your Mother actress Alyson Hannigan; model Tyson Beckford; Too Hot to Handle alum and social media star Harry Jowsey; Grammy winner Jason Mraz; former NFL most valuable player Adrian Peterson; singer and social media star Lele Pons; Oscar winner Mira Sorvino; real estate mogul and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (estranged) husband Mauricio Umansky; Veep Emmy nominee Matt Walsh; and Brady Bunch star Barry Williams.

The celebrity dancers (and their professional partners) who are members of SAG-AFTRA are able to take part in Dancing With the Stars because it falls under a different contract than the one for which union members are currently on strike. The so-called Network Code covers game shows, variety shows and other unscripted series and runs through June 2024.

Dancing With the Stars is set to premiere at 8 p.m. ET/PT Sept. 26 on ABC and Disney+; it’s returning to the broadcast network after last year’s competition ran exclusively on Disney+. Alfonso Ribeiro will host, with former DWTS pro Julianne Hough serving as co-host. Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough are the jduges.
