The star officially retired from Hollywood in 2018 before her close friend and fellow actor, Jamie Foxx, convinced her to appear with him in the 2023 movie, “Back In Action.” However, it seems she won’t be taking other acting jobs in the future.

While shooting the film, the 51-year-old actress had difficulty being away from her family. The source also claimed she didn’t like the “drama and confrontation” that occurred on movie sets and the 10-hour work days took their toll on her, adding:

“Cameron loves being a mom more than anything in the world.”

In May 2022, reports revealed that Diaz and Madden spent $12.67 million to buy a remodeled Montecito, California, mansion. The three-story home boasts 11,000 square feet and sits on the 1.75-acre estate with ocean views from the terrace.

The home’s top floor has a suite and a sitting room with a chateau-style fireplace. The mansion has seven full bathrooms, a study or home office with a fireplace, six ensuite bedrooms, two spa-style baths, and three half-baths.

To get to the swimming pool and hot tub, a curved stairway is used, and they also have a poolside cabana below the main house. As if that isn’t enough, the actress and her husband have plenty of entertainment with their home theater and state-of-the-art media room.

Since Diaz has a lot of free time since retiring, she spent it bonding with her husband and child. The star could be found in the kitchen or doing everyday chores when she isn’t doing that.

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020, Raddix was three-and-a-half months old. In her social media return, Diaz revealed how she spent time with her family in quarantine, enjoying the stillness and quiet.
