Who Is Perry Greene?

For 23 years, Perry has held the position of president at the professional general contracting company Taylor Commercial, Inc., in Alpharetta, Georgia. Before that, between 1999 and 2000, he served as the general manager of Taylor Construction, Inc.

Marjorie’s husband also worked as an accountant for Ernst & Young for a year, from 1996 to 1997. At the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, he earned a bachelor of business administration (BBA) in accounting.

Perry and his politician wife tied the knot in August 1995 after exchanging vows, and they share three adult children: Lauren, Taylor, and Derek. The couple, who lived in Georgia, had just celebrated their silver wedding anniversary after 25 years of marriage in 2020.

Despite the popularity of social media today, Perry has been inactive in updating his life on the internet. On a more regular basis, he does, however, make it to the point of sharing career-related posts that are positive and encouraging to his wife.

What Is Known about the Marjorie Taylor Greene Cheating Scandal?

Despite being married for a long time, Marjorie and Perry’s relationship was fraught with controversies. The Georgia lawmaker was accused of being unfaithful to her long-term partner, besides reportedly holding the views of a conspiracy theorist.

Marjorie’s attorney, L. Lin Wood, stated in a 2020 New Yorker article that the allegations leveled against his client were all attempts to besmirch her reputation.

According to the Daily Mail, in 2021, Marjorie allegedly had her first affair with polyamorous tantric sex guru and tantric warrior Craig Ivey. Soon after, she started an inappropriate relationship with Justin Tway, who worked as a fitness manager.

However, a source close to the controversial politician alleged that the reported affairs were not a secret. Another businessman, Jim Chambers, claimed that Marjorie had “multiple, obvious extramarital affairs.”

Jim, whose grandmother was Georgia’s richest person, the late Anne Cox Chambers, previously owned a CrossFit gym where Marjorie worked part-time as a coach. He said of Marjorie’s affairs:

“This seemed much more serious than the affair with Craig. That was more of a flirty thing. But with Justin she seemed to have designs on a more long-term relationship.”

Meanwhile, neither Craig nor Justin denied the affair. Craig reportedly refused to comment further on the matter, while Justin stated that he had “no interest” in discussing Marjorie because “everything with her comes to no good.”

Jim also thought Marjorie’s alleged extramarital affairs contradicted her values as a member of an evangelical church in the north of Atlanta. In 2011, she stated that she wanted to bring her faith and family values to Washington.

To defend herself, Marjorie called the affair rumor “ridiculous” amid the storm of controversy. She claimed she was the “biggest threat to the Democratic Socialist agenda” and that it was their way of sullying her image.

Marjorie, also known by her moniker “MTG,” has been the target of numerous attempts to harm her reputation since becoming a Georgia representative in 2021. These have taken the form of lies, false accusations, half-truths, and out-of-context statements.

Meanwhile, Marjorie’s attorney, L. Lin Wood, n a 2020 New Yorker article, stated that the allegations against his client were all collective efforts to besmirch her reputation. However, he did not directly refute or deny any specific allegations or claims against Greene.

What Is Known about the Reasons behind Marjorie Taylor Greene and Perry Greene’s Divorce?

Taylor’s alleged cheating scandal resurfaced after Perry recently filed for a divorce from his wife in September 2022, Georgia Superior Court of Floyd County. Perry’s divorce filing stated that his marriage to the representative was “irretrievably broken.” Perry said:

“Marjorie has been my best friend for the last 29 years and she has been an amazing mom! As we go on different paths we will continue to focus on our 3 incredible kids and their future endeavors and our friendship.”

The petition, however, clarified that the longtime couple “previously separated and remain in a bona fide state of separation.” Marjorie has requested privacy after being served with divorce papers.

Marjorie never lost her sunny disposition and insisted that she still thinks getting married is a wonderful achievement, even though she and her estranged husband are now going through the divorce process.

The title of mother, she said, was the “best job title” she gained through her marriage with Perry. Marjorie also admired Perry’s dedication to their family and noted that she would be eternally grateful for the “great of a dad” he has become to their children.

It’s unclear whether Marjorie will keep the Greene surname or be called “Representative Greene” after the divorce is finalized. Per Perry’s request, all divorce papers, both those already filed and those still to be issued, should remain confidential.

Marjorie’s case has become one of the most contentious issues in recent years. Similarly, former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger once faced some of the country’s most intense public scrutiny that deeply impacted his wife and family.
