What Did Mickey Rourke Say To Jojo Siwa? Actor Issued Warning By ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ Over His “Homophobic” Comments

An official warning has been given to Mickey Rourke for his allegedly “homophobic” comments directed at Jojo Siwa on the reality show Celebrity Big Brother. The actor could potentially be expelled from the program as a result of a conversation he had with the Dance Moms star.

Rourke asks Siwa if she likes “boys or girls” in an episode that is set to air on ITV this evening, Deadline reports.

During a discussion with Siwa, in which she mentions her non-binary partner, Rourke remarks, “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore.” Siwa responds firmly, stating, “I can guarantee I’ll still be gay and I’ll still be in a very happy relationship.”

The situation escalates when Rourke goes on to say, “I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick,” while talking to fellow contestant Chris Hughes. Siwa, who overhears this comment, confronts Rourke by calling out the remark as homophobic, questioning his intentions behind such a statement.

Rourke then says, “I need a f*g,” while gesturing at Siwa and telling her, “I’m not talking to you,” and claiming he’s instead “talking about a cigarette.”

All of this gets Rourke summoned to the show’s Diary Room, where he’s given his official warning: “Big Brother thinks your language was offensive and unacceptable,” Big Brother tells him, per Deadline. “As a result, Big Brother is giving you a formal warning. Further language or behavior of this nature could lead to you being removed from the Big Brother house.”

Rourke apologizes and says he was “just talking smack” and didn’t have “dishonorable intentions” with her comments about Siwa’s sexuality.

He also issues an apology to the dancer herself, telling Siwa, “I’ve got a habit of having a short fuse. And I don’t mean nothing by it. I do mean [sorry]. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t say it to you.”

Rourke already caused a stir on the show when he was accused of “ogling” and “grabbing” Celebrity Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu when he first entered the house, per TMZ. Some fans are now calling for him to be pulled from the show over his behavior.

“He should be removed for this. It’s Disturbing, particularly after how he was with AJ, too,” one user wrote on X.
