The FAA is investigating a possible security incident that occurred on Wednesday, leading to the evacuation of 91 passengers from a Frontier Airlines plane.
The incident took place on Frontier Airlines Flight 4708, traveling from Hartsfield/Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Washington Dulles International Airport. The flight landed safely in Virginia around 2:35 p.m. local time after the flight crew reported a potential security issue, as confirmed by the FAA.

Airports Authority police, fire and operations personnel responded to the runway, according to a statement from Dulles Airport.
Police inspected and cleared the aircraft at 4:45 p.m.

The passengers and their baggage were transported to the main terminal.
