A Texas mother and stepfather both entered guilty pleas after being accused of tying their children down and forcing them to get tattooed.

Megan Farr, aged 29, and Gunnar Farr, aged 25, have both admitted their guilt in court, two years after they were arrested for restraining Megan Farr’s two children, who were aged 5 and 9 at the time. The couple was charged with tattooing the children at their residence in Zavalla, a city located about 130 miles northeast of Houston. An arrest affidavit obtained by KTRE, a local ABC affiliate, stated that the biological father of the children noticed the tattoos and alerted Child Protective Services to the situation.

After the incident, Megan Farr and Gunnar Farr allegedly tried to remove the tattoos from the children’s skin by scraping it off and using lemon juice to scrub the areas, as mentioned in the arrest affidavit.
