Aaron Judge is a free agent for the first time in his MLB career and New York Yankees fans are trembling after he landed in San Francisco on Monday night to meet with the Giants, according to MLB Network‘s Jon Morosi.

Judge, 30, said he was only in San Francisco to visit family and friends, but his cheeky smile and wink gave him away.

“Just visiting some family and friends, that’s about it,” Judge said with a wink. “That’s about it.”

Judge, a Bay Area native, is reportedly staying at the St. Regis hotel in SF, where the Giants will meet him to make their pitch.

Giants fans are already drooling over the possibility of getting Judge, while the Yankees following holds on to the last glimmer of hope.

Yankees interested in Jacob deGrom

While the Yankees will do everything to keep Judge, they’re already looking for options should he leave the franchise.

According to SNY, Yankees have reportedly requested medical information on free agent Jacob deGrom from the Mets.

DeGrom, 34, is one of the best pitchers in the league, but arm injuries continue to hold him back.

Judge, the 2022 AL MVP, is irreplaceable, and if San Francisco can entice him to make the move, the Giants will be automatic favorites to win the World Series.
