Are you someone who likes to tune in weekly for the latest episode of a series, or do you prefer to binge-watch the entire season in one go? This is a dilemma that fans of the popular sports drama All American on The CW often find themselves pondering.
While new episodes of the show are broadcast on Monday nights on The CW, many viewers who have cut the cord prefer to wait until the whole season is available for streaming on Netflix. The good news for them is that the wait is not too long.
Thanks to a previous agreement between Netflix and The CW, a new season of All American is released on Netflix just eight days after the season finale airs on The CW. So, what does this mean for fans eagerly awaiting the new season? Don’t worry, because Decider is here to provide all the details you need.
Here’s when All American Season 7 premieres on Netflix.
The seventh season consists of 13 episodes.
All American Season 7, Episode 11 (“No Role Modelz”) airs from 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
The Season 7 finale airs Monday, May 5 from 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET on The CW. The episode will be available on The CW website/app beginning Tuesday, May 6.
Thankfully, the Netflix/CW deal still includes new seasons of All American. Like previous installments of the show, Season 7 should debut eight days after the season finale airs on The CW.
With that in mind, we expect All American Season 7 to premiere Tuesday, May 13 at 3:00 a.m. ET on Netflix.
Nope. All American is still on the bubble. Earlier this month, Deadline asked Channing Dungey, Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group, if WBTV can continue to produce All American. Dungey’s response? “We’ll see.”
“Could we produce something for the CW if we were starting from scratch, yes, absolutely,” Dungey said. “It’s tough when you have an established show like All American because there are some costs built into that multi-season. But we’re going to put our best efforts towards it.”
