The 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held in Los Angeles this fall. The event’s date has not yet been announced.
“Artists or bands become eligible for nomination 25 years after releasing their first commercial recording,” according to the Rock Hall.
Nominee ballots are sent to more than 1,200 artists, historians and music industry professionals who decide which performers join the class of 2025.
“The selection criteria includes an artist’s impact on music culture, influence on other musicians that have followed, as well as the scope and longevity of their career and body of work,” according to Rock Hall officials.
