Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman will be required to testify in the legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

Blake Lively initiated a legal dispute against Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment during the filming of “It Ends With Us.” In response, Baldoni refuted the allegations, stating that Lively fabricated them because she wanted to take control of the movie away from him.

A source revealed to the Daily Mail on Tuesday, April 22, that Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman are next in line to be served legal notices as the conflict between the two parties escalates.

“It could happen at any time,” the insider added, noting that Swift has not been seen with Lively since the drama around the lawsuit started.

There have been speculations about Taylor Swift’s level of involvement in the movie “Anti-Hero” due to conflicting reports. While she did not appear in the film, one of her songs was featured in the trailer and soundtrack following a request from Lively. Additionally, there are rumors suggesting Swift may have influenced script revisions and casting decisions.

In August 2024, Lively discussed Swift’s involvement in the film during an interview on CBS Mornings. “I think that, for better or worse, she experienced the whole thing with me,” she said at the time, adding that the pop star was at her side “throughout this whole process.”

“This was actually — it’s quite a small budget movie. … So we never thought, like, our eyeballs were not that big to think that we could put one of her songs in the movie and it had to be,” she added, again referring to the singer giving her permission to use the song “My Tears Ricochet” in the film’s trailer and soundtrack.

Even Baldoni seems to agree that Swift was involved in the film in some capacity. In a resurfaced clip from Access Hollywood, Baldoni reveals that he cast actress Isabela Ferrer to play a younger version of Lively’s character after Swift and Lively agreed that she was a “phenomenal actress.”

“I had actually brought in and showed her casting tape to Blake and Taylor and they were both, like, ‘Yes! Her,’” Baldoni revealed. “And that’s a true story.”

Ferrer also seems to admit that Swift had a hand in her casting, telling Extra at the film’s premiere that the “Love Story” singer had “some influence” in her getting the role.

“I don’t even know if I’m supposed to be saying it, but I’m saying it!” she explained. “Yeah, she was a helpful part of the process of the audition, which I found out later after I got it, and that rocked my world. I have no words.”

It seems that Swift is trying to keep her head down amid the legal battle. According to Us Weekly, she and her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, are “taking a break” from the spotlight after she wrapped up her wildly successful Eras Tour last year.

One source told the publication that the couple wants to try living a “normal life” following her record-breaking tour and the Super Bowl.

A second insider revealed that the couple “needed time for themselves,” adding, “Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love. They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”
