Last week’s emotional two-part episode of the TV show 9-1-1 left fans devastated as it concluded with a surprising event – a sacrifice that shocked viewers. However, fans eager to know the aftermath of the incident will need to wait one more week.
The central character, Captain Bobby Nash (played by Peter Krause), in this drama series created by Ryan Murphy centering around the lives of first responders, made a selfless decision. Bobby, who was already infected with a fatal virus, chose to give the only dose of vaccine to his colleague, firefighter Howard “Chimney” Han (Kenneth Choi). Tragically, Bobby couldn’t survive the illness, leaving his wife Athena (Angela Bassett) to mourn his loss alongside their fellow first responders.
Since there will be no new episode of 9-1-1 on ABC this week, fans will have some breathing room to process the loss.
