You have to hand it to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Despite what appears to be concerted actions from the left against him, he’s still not hesitant to make moves that will likely infuriate Democrats.
Recently, during a discussion on Tucker Carlson’s show, a pressing query was posed about individuals like Susan Rice remaining on the Defense Policy Board for the Department of Defense. The primary role of this board is to offer advice to Hegseth. The question that lingers is why would he seek counsel from Rice?
Former adviser to Hegseth, Dan Caldwell, pointed out the issue on Carlson’s show earlier this week.

The Intercept had an interesting take.
During the interview, Caldwell expressed dissatisfaction with the composition of the advisory board, alleging that it was predominantly filled with individuals who exhibit intense animosity towards President Donald Trump. He implied that his sudden dismissal was potentially linked to internal power struggles between advocates urging for military action with Iran and personnel cautious of involving the country in foreign conflicts, a stance he personally aligns with.
