An Ohio woman, Megan Keleman, was tragically killed by a stranger at a Taco Bell drive-thru in Stow on August 14, 2024. The perpetrator, Jason Williams, then took his own life. The family of Megan Keleman has since filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Williams’ estate.

Keleman, 25 years old at the time, was waiting in line in her car with her dog, Penny, when Williams began ramming her vehicle from behind. Unable to move due to the lack of a bypass lane, Keleman contacted her father, Nicholas Keleman, for help.

Reports indicate that Williams was visibly enraged, shouting and gesticulating. Nicholas Keleman called 911, alerting a Taco Bell employee through the drive-thru intercom. Meanwhile, Williams, armed with a pistol, approached Megan Keleman and fatally shot her, with her father still on the phone. Tragically, Williams then took his own life as well.

Authorities were never able to determine that the two knew each other, WEWS reported.
