JoJo Siwa Opens Up About Split with Kath Ebbs and Addresses Embarrassing Breakup Rumors

The musician is telling more of her side of the story after Kath Ebbs claimed she embarrassed her by breaking up with her at a party.

JoJo Siwa and Kath Ebbs were in a relationship for close to a year until Siwa was on “Celebrity Big Brother” (CBB) and decided to end things.

Siwa talked about the breakup at the “Celebrity Big Brother” wrap party. In a TikTok video that has since been taken down, Ebbs mentioned feeling “dumped” and embarrassed. Siwa later discussed the situation on “The Viall Files,” revealing that it was more complex than it seemed.

Siwa mentioned that Kath had originally planned to skip the party but changed their mind and showed up late. Things got tense during the event, with Siwa recalling a heated argument and acknowledging the frustration aimed at her.

She recalled expressing to her now ex that she was not in a position to engage in conversation at that kind of event. Despite the tensions, she revealed that Kath had requested she refrain from discussing their relationship and breakup.

Emphasizing the importance of respecting their wishes, Siwa noted that this request could make her seem avoidant to the public, but she clarified that she was not trying to evade the situation.

However, the current situation did not deter Siwa from expressing her happiness with her current circumstances, stating, “I’m so happy where I’m at right now that I just want to stay here.”

She also addressed the overwhelming speculation regarding her friendship with her “Celebrity Big Brother” housemate, Hughes. According to Cosmopolitan, she clarified that he is not connected to her breakup with Ebbs, not even remotely, stating: “Chris does not have absolutely anything to do with it.”

Both she and Hughes spoke about their bond during an appearance on “This Morning,” where Hughes described their connection as a “soulmate friendship.”

When asked if there was potential for a romantic relationship, Siwa expressed uncertainty about the future but conveyed her gratitude for their dynamic, saying, “Whatever life does, life will do.”

While she did not directly name her ex, Siwa shared that this realization led her to take her mental health seriously after leaving the show. She took a bold approach to address the issues in her life, which resulted in a significant shift in her romantic standing with Ebbs

Ebbs’ events narrative was heartbreaking as she only learned about her place in Siwa’s life when she flew to London to celebrate her success on “CBB.” According to the podcaster, reality dawned on her at the show’s afterparty, where she felt abandoned while Hughes, her biggest nemesis, was nearby.

During this party, Siwa explicitly told Ebbs about the confusion regarding their relationship. Siwa reportedly admitted that, throughout the course of the show, she realized that Ebbs was not the person she envisioned for her future.
