Nicolas Cage was present for son Weston Cage Coppola’s wedding to fiancée Jenifer Canter.
Cage, 61, and his son Weston, 34, were photographed at the altar in images posted on social media by wedding attendees. The father and son duo were dressed in matching traditional tuxedos, while the bride, Canter, wore two different strapless bridal gowns during the day.
Weston took to Instagram on Friday, May 2, to share the news of their marriage, expressing his deep love for his now-wife. He wrote, “I am ineffably honored to announce that I am married to my twin flame, just as the creator intended all along. I love you @_babyjen_ more than any man has ever loved.” Weston shared a selection of wedding photos alongside this heartfelt message.
In her own words, Canter shared her feelings about the union, saying, “This is the greatest miracle of my existence as I see the reason I was born and divinity itself every time I look into your astronomically beautiful eyes. Our dreams are God’s dreams for the world. Your holy soul and being is the dynamic key in every nuance and detail that unlocked my heart for it was always yours. Reunited and divinely provided. We are free and now we can free the world together.”
In his lengthy Instagram tribute, Weston noted that he is excited for the next chapter in his and Canter’s love story.
“Perfection is 2nd to the profound greatness that you are,” he gushed, “You have the prince and the gentleman in me and your devoted beast forever and always now. O, our dear Mother Earth and Grand Architect of the universe. It has begun. Life starts now. Elevation shall now commence.”
Weston, Cage’s son with ex Christina Fulton, confirmed in March that he proposed.
“She is the love of my life and I am committed to her forever,” he told People. “What I have with Jenifer is a God-given divine phenomenon, and therefore it is incomparable. She is the love of my life and our special love is uncanny. I am honored to be with the absolute love of my life. We look forward to changing the world and making our legacy.”
Weston has been married three previous times to Nikki Williams from 2011 to 2012, Danielle Cage from 2013 to 2016 and Hila Cage Coppola from 2018 to 2020. (Weston shares sons Lucian and Sorin with Danielle, and daughters Venice and Cyress with Hila.)
Throughout his romance with Canter, Weston has been candid about why he believes their connection is different from his past relationships.
“This is the way it was always supposed to be. My first love and the one I was born for. The one I’ve loved since I was a teenager,” he wrote via Instagram in January. “It is the most ineffable honor to reunite for eternity the way the universe always envisioned for us. I love you beyond mortal love.”
