American Injustice: Illegal Alien Teen Kills Young CO Woman in High-Speed Racing Crash, Serves No Time

Mercy and opportunities for redemption are important, but the progressive left’s approach has distorted these concepts, portraying violent offenders as victims instead of holding them accountable for their actions. As a result, the actual victims often find themselves overlooked and failed by the justice system.

In a recent case in Aurora, a teenage illegal immigrant from Colombia engaged in a reckless race with fellow illegal immigrants, reaching speeds exceeding 90 miles per hour. Tragically, this led to a fatal collision with the vehicle of 24-year-old Kaitlyn Weaver, causing her immediate death. Shockingly, the perpetrator received only a sentence of probation and community service for this grave offense.

What has happened to justice in this country?

A progressive district attorney granted a lenient plea deal to a teenage illegal immigrant who caused the death of a 24-year-old woman in a high-speed crash in Colorado. This deal allowed the offender to avoid any jail time, sparking concerns about the fairness and effectiveness of the legal system.

The 15-year-old Colombian teen, who has not been publicly named because of state laws that shield the identity of underage criminal suspects, was sentenced to two years probation and 100 hours of community service for the July 2024 death of Kaitlyn Weaver, her father, John Weaver, told Fox News Digital.
