BRIGHTON, Colo. — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed to death in a Brighton home Thursday evening.
The Brighton Police Department received a call reporting an unconscious man at a residence on East Bridge Street around 5:05 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 34-year-old man with stab wounds. He was rushed to Platte Valley Medical Center but was tragically declared deceased.
The Adams County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity at a later time.
Authorities mentioned that the victim and the suspect were acquainted, and the suspect fled the scene before the police could apprehend them. The police believe this is an isolated event and reassured the public that there is no danger to them.
