Shared on social media, the video depicts the individuals supposedly unlawfully entering the Sands Apartment building and leaping between rooftops of various buildings.

One of the participants in the stunt can be heard in the video stating that upon noticing a sign indicating a restricted area with a no trespassing warning, they viewed it more as a challenge rather than a deterrent.

The footage then shows them climbing onto the roof before leaping to another building.

The actions of the group have drawn condemnation from authorities.

Although there is no specific penalty for sharing such content on social media, “it provides conclusive proof and demonstrates their disregard for trespassing laws and engagement in hazardous behavior,” commented Superintendent Brett Jackson.

“Should they not make the jump and fall, obviously there would be significant injuries, if not death.”

The individual behind the video describes himself as a “parkour athlete” based in Manchester, with videos of similar stunts dating back to 2011.

Authorities have indicated that the individuals involved could face consequences upon any future attempts to enter the country.

“If we identify someone who has committed an offence and then they leave the country or the state, we can flag them,” Jackson said.

This could result in them being denied entry to Australia.
