EASTLAKE, Ohio — The star-studded roster for the 2025 David Njoku Celebrity Softball Game has been released!
The annual event will feature plenty of local favorites along with world renowned musicians, influencers and athletes.

Game details
The Lake County Captains have announced the return of the David Njoku Celebrity Softball Game, scheduled for Thursday, June 19, at Classic Auto Group Park in Eastlake.
Organizers have revealed that the gates will open at 4:30 p.m., with the pregame Home Run Derby set to start at 6 p.m., followed by the Celebrity Softball Game at 7 p.m.
This is the second consecutive year Njoku, a Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl tight end, will host the event.
In 2024, the Home Run Derby was won by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, a Cleveland Heights native. Other notable participants included Browns players Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward, as well as former Browns players Kareem Hunt and Amari Cooper.
The event has previously been hosted by Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II, former Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry and former Browns cornerback Joe Haden.
Past participants have included UFC fighter Stipe Miocic, NBA player Donovan Mitchell and former Ohio State wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr.
