Last week, musician Bruce Springsteen, known for his liberal stance, expressed strong political opinions during a performance overseas. He criticized President Donald Trump and Republicans while performing with the E Street Band in the U.K. on May 14.
According to RedState’s Katie Jerkovich, Springsteen used his time on stage in Manchester to label the president as ‘unfit’ and spoke about ‘dangerous times,’ referencing a video on his website.
During the concert, Springsteen made disparaging remarks about the current administration, describing it as corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous. He expressed concern about the state of America, a country he loves and has written about extensively.
The president did not sit quietly, and others, including comedian and Fox News host Greg Gutfeld, also took part in eviscerating “The Boss” for his actions.
Then on Monday this week, Trump threw out a question in a Truth Social post that is on some minds about potential irregularities with former Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign coffers, saying he would welcome a “major investigation” over whether her paying performers/celebrities like Springsteen, Beyonce, and others for endorsements and appearances was on the up-and-up:
In a fiery rant posted May 19 on Truth Social, Trump said he plans to call for a “major investigation” into Harris’ celebrity endorsements, including by Bruce Springsteen, Oprah Winfrey and Beyoncé. He alleged Beyoncé received $11 million to walk on stage and show her support during a Harris’ rally in Houston.
