A critical missing person alert has been issued for an Alabama man.
43-year-old Rodney Lavett was reported missing on Thursday from the Gardendale area. Lavett, a bald man with brown eyes, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 208 pounds.
He was last seen driving a silver Tesla Cybertruck with an Alabama license plate A29067. Details about Lavett’s clothing at the time of his disappearance are currently unknown.
Law enforcement believes that Lavett may be a danger to himself and possibly others. He is known to carry multiple weapons, according to ABC 3340.
The Birmingham Police Department is advising the public not to approach Lavett if located, but to exercise caution and contact authorities right away at (205) 328-9311.
