Car lands in woman's living room.

EXCLUSIVE: Angelie Valerio was cooking dinner inside her Blaxland Home when an upside-down car landed in it.

“I was just staring off, trying to take everything like… did this just happen to me,” Angelie told 9News.

The aged care worker recalled her incredibly lucky escape, revealing she made a split-second decision that could have saved her life.

“I went to the kitchen and was about to leave all the food in there, and just check that the door was locked,” Valerio said.

“But I hesitated, cause I thought I can’t leave the food, I don’t want to risk burning it.”

That’s when the crash happened.

Fire and Rescue NSW Superintendent Adam Dewberry said the fact that nobody was seriously injured is “a miracle”.

Luckily, there was a nurse off duty at the scene who was already comforting and treating the injured person who was stuck,” according to Dewberry.

The man, who was driving and is in his 60s, was rescued from the Audi. He was then transported to Nepean Hospital with minor injuries and received a penalty for careless driving.

No charges have been laid and NSW Police investigations are continuing.
