RedState recently reported on an announcement made by Tesla CEO and Twitter/X owner Elon Musk. In his statement, Musk mentioned that his involvement with DOGE and the Trump-Vance administration as a special government employee would be coming to an end by the end of the month.
Musk expressed gratitude towards President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to help reduce wasteful spending during his time as a Special Government Employee. He also remarked on how the @DOGE mission will continue to grow in importance within the government.
Even though Musk had hinted in late April about reducing his responsibilities with DOGE to focus on other ventures, he did not rule out dedicating some time weekly to government matters if requested by the President. Officials from the Trump administration have stated that Musk will continue to advise the POTUS in the foreseeable future.
