There is traffic gridlock on the A1(M) following a two-car crash this morning.
The crash has held all traffic temporarily on the southbound carriageway and the road has been shut between the A635 Barnsley Road (Marr) to junction 36 of the A630 Warmsworth Road. It is unclear if anyone has been injured in the crash.
The traffic management system, Inrix, said: “All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident, two cars involved on A1(M) Southbound from A635 Barnsley Road (Marr) to J36 A630 Warmsworth Road (Doncaster / Conisbrough).”
