Local people living in the Wear Midlands region in the UK are expressing concerns about the dangerous behavior of young male drivers on the roads. This comes after a tragic incident where a 2-year-old boy was killed in a hit-and-run involving a stolen Porsche.
The fatal accident took place on Dartmouth Road in Smethwick, West Midlands, as reported by DailyMail. The young child lost his life, while four adults were also injured in the incident. Among the injured are a 29-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man who are said to be in critical condition.
One resident, Russell George, shared his shock at the tragic event, stating, “It’s dreadful what’s happened. When I came back on Saturday night I could see the road was blocked off,” in an interview with The Daily Telegraph.
“It’s really, really sad that it involved a small child.”
