Jordan Chiles dared to get a new tattoo before walking in Miami Swim Week.
After walking in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit show, the 24-year-old Olympic gymnast took to TikTok on Sunday, June 1, to show off her new ink.
In her vlog, Chiles gave a glimpse of her getting a new tattoo on her hip, honoring Miami Swim Week.
She expressed her excitement about getting a new tattoo by wearing half a bikini and a shirt. For her, each tattoo holds a special meaning, and she planned to reveal this new one on the runway that day. The tattoo artist, a friend of hers, was ready in her hotel room.
Before the tattoo session began, she revealed a drawing of her upcoming fine-line tattoo. The design depicted a bikini top and bottom hanging on a clothesline, with the number 25 at the end signifying the year.
Viewers were able to watch as she lay down for the tattoo artist to start working on her hip. She later shared a sneak peek of her new ink before strutting down the runway.
“And that was my crazy week with SI Swim Week in Miami!!” She captioned the post.
During the runway show, Chiles stunned in two swimsuits while showing off her new body art. She first rocked a white Ola Vida set featuring striped cups, brown straps, and a halter neck. She teamed the top with matching bottoms, complete with bows tied at her hips. Chiles topped off her ensemble with an embroidered cowgirl hat, which she tipped towards the crowd as she danced down the runway.
Elsewhere in the show, she sported a blue-and-yellow patterned Jean Paul Gautier set. At the end of the catwalk, Chiles stopped and pointed at her new tattoo, giving the audience a full view of her artwork.
For glam, Chiles donned a full beat including dewy skin, highlighted cheeks and long lashes. Her brunette mane was parted down the middle and styled in curls.
Chiles is no stranger to tattoos. She also has flowers printed on her side, the Olympic rings on her arms, XO on her hand, a snake on her forearm, a bow, a teddy bear and more.
