Serena Williams Shows Her ‘Natural’ Body Shape after Welcoming Second Baby, Struggles to Fit into a Skirt

Serena Williams showed her Instagram followers what a natural post-partum body looks like as she tried on a denim skirt she bought while pregnant. Fans praised the athlete for showing her natural body and not masking what baby weight looked like after giving birth.

Serena Williams is a mom of two and candidly sharing her body post-partum. The tennis star recently shared a video of herself trying to fit into a denim Valentino skirt, which, unfortunately, couldn’t make it past her glutes.

Williams bought the skirt when she was pregnant and thought she would fit in it when she lost her belly. However, after being distracted for weeks, she has yet to lose the weight. After doing the calculations, she believes going to the gym will help her hit into the skirt in a month.

Despite not yet reaching her goal, Williams’ Instagram followers showed nothing but support and praise for the athlete. “Natural bodies matter,” one person wrote. “Well done on sharing the reality of post partum… not just the glamourized instagram version [sic],” another added. “You’re adorable,” a third wrote.

Williams has already started her journey getting back into shape and posted a glimpse of her weights workout on Instagram. Admittedly, she was lifting lighter plates than typical in the exercises, but noted that she has yet to get back into her usual programming.

Williams first announced her pregnancy in May 2023 with an Instagram trailer of her YouTube vlog. At that time, she was already a mother to a toddler, Olympia Ohanian, whom she had with her husband, Alexis Ohanian. Recently, Serena Williams shared a photo with her daughter enjoying a vacation by the beach.
