Svetlana Dali, the alleged Delta stowaway who lives in Philadelphia, was arrested again for trying to flee into Canada

PHILADELPHIA — Svetlana Dali, the alleged Delta Airlines stowaway, was arrested for the second time this month.

She was first arrested by the FBI on Dec. 4 for allegedly stowing away on a Delta Air Lines flight from the United States to France.

Dali had cut off her ankle monitor on Sunday and was trying to sneak into Canada, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

The person she was staying with in Philadelphia discovered the bracelet cut and alerted authorities.

New video footage shows a Delta crewmember questioning the woman after she allegedly snuck onto a flight from JFK to Paris last week.

An arrest warrant was issued for bail jumping on Monday morning out of the Eastern District of New York.

The Russian national was apprehended in Buffalo on Monday afternoon. She was on a Greyhound bus trying to cross into Canada.

When law enforcement asked her to produce her passport, she did not have one.

She was taken into custody, where it was determined that she was wanted on an open warrant.

Dali will appear in court before a federal magistrate on Tuesday.

Dali was originally caught traveling without proper documentation on Nov. 26.

She managed to sneak onto Delta Flight 264, which took off from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York and was headed to Charles-de-Gaulle International Airport in Paris.

However, her attempt to go unnoticed on the flight failed, and she was sent back to the U.S. a few days later. Once she arrived back at JFK, authorities took her into custody.

The French Interior Ministry stated that she was not allowed to enter French territory because she did not have a valid travel document (visa). Instead, she was kept in the waiting area until she could be sent back to the United States since she did have a valid U.S. residence permit.

Her attempt to sneak into Canada on Monday appears to be a second attempt to illegally leave the country in fewer than 30 days.
