A MASSIVELY popular TikToker has been detained by ICE for reportedly overstaying his visa and was forced to leave the country.
Khaby Lame, whose real name is Seringe Khabane Lame, was apprehended by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on June 6. He boasts a following of over 162 million fans on TikTok.
The same day, Lame was given voluntary departure, allowing him to avoid deportation proceedings.
Lame, who was born in Senegal, was able to return to Italy, where he is a citizen and has spent the majority of his life.
In a statement, ICE said Lame entered the US on April 30 and “overstayed the terms of his visa.”
