Disapproval grows for Donald Trump Jr.’s new girlfriend Bettina Anderson among MAGA supporters due to old social media posts resurfacing

Donald Trump Jr.’s new flame Bettina Anderson’s social media activity and public persona is causing considerable concern within the MAGA world. 

People who spoke to the Daily Mail expressed concerns that she might be a problem for Don Jr. and the incoming president, potentially causing headaches for the administration.

The 38-year-old socialite from Florida somewhat discreetly introduced her relationship with Donald Trump’s oldest son recently, despite still being publicly engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle.

She posted to her Instagram story an image of flowers and a note she received from Don Jr. for her birthday this month. 

This revelation followed the publication of exclusive photos by the Daily Mail showing Anderson and the father of five on a date night in Palm Beach at the upscale small plate restaurant, Buccan.

Don Jr. then brought Bettina to Mar-a-Lago for dinner on Wednesday where the two were seen ‘parading their love for all to see’. 

The new couple’s  whirlwind romance has continued with the couple jetting away for a European vacation on Friday. 

However, the social media posts from Anderson show her views haven’t always aligned with the MAGA platform.

This includes sharing a post showing herself wearing a face mask during the COVID-19 pandemic, another sharing pro-Black Lives Matter sentiments and others exhibiting anti-traditional family values.

Anderson’s past social media posts show her less-than-MAGA views – including supporting mask mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic

Sources within Trump’s inner circle have told Daily Mail there are concerns about whether Anderson will be embraced by their base because she wasn’t ‘MAGA to begin with.’ 

Some claim she is only looking to gain social media notoriety and ‘grift’ her way to fame.

Multiple others claim she poses a liability for the incoming administration.

One source said that Don Jr. is planning to bring Anderson to inauguration in Washington, D.C. in January. 

Daily Mail reported last week how Don Jr.’s relationship with Guilfoyle is over though it appeared that they tried to keep up public appearances for a few months and were not spotted together for several weeks before the Anderson pictures hit the scene. 

The same day the images of Don Jr. and Bettina were published last week, Trump announced he was making Guilfoyle his ambassador to Greece in his second administration.

In 2020, Anderson posted a blacked-out screen that social media users were using as a virtue signal that they supported the Black Lives Matter movement.

Trump supporters historically do not support BLM because the movement advocates for the abolition of law enforcement and police officers – a demographic that largely supports the president-elect.

Also in 2020 she also posted about the COVID-19 pandemic with an image of her wearing a mask posing alongside a sign that read: ‘Only you can stop the spread of ignorance.’

This was another more liberal view, with many conservatives and Trump supporters opposing the imposition of mask and vaccine mandates during the coronavirus outbreak.

Don Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle have been together for years and were engaged. When images began to emerge of Trump with Anderson, the two were still publicly in a relationship, but had not been seen together for weeks

Anderson, a 38-year-old Palm Beach socialite and model, frequently makes posts bragging about the fact that she doesn’t have any children

Anderson’s Instagram account’s bio to this day notes that she is a childless woman. 

‘I’m just your typical stay at home mom…only I don’t do household chores…or have a husband…or have kids..’ it reads. 

Anderson also wrote on Facebook in 2020: ‘Everyday is independence day when you don’t have children.’ 

She repeatedly brags about being childless – a big news cycle that hit earlier this year when Republicans garnered flak for Vice President-elect J.D. Vance saying ‘childless cat ladies’ have destroyed the country. 

In 2021 she posted an image of herself with a baby carriage filled with shopping bags. 

Her Instagram bio claims she’s a ‘stay at home mom’ who doesn’t do household chores and doesn’t have any kids or husband

She posted in 2020 the black screen that virtue signaled to other users that she supported the Black Lives Matter movement

Anderson (cicled above) appeared in a TikTok video in August with Kai Trump where Don Jr.’s eldest daughter was announcing her verbal commitment to play golf at the University of Miami

Donald Trump announced last week that he is making Kimberly Guilfoyle his Ambassador to Greece 

‘The transition is delivering big wins for the country,’ a source told DailyMail.com when speaking about Don Jr.’s new love interest.

‘We can’t afford to have any headaches or liabilities trying to grift their way to more Instagram followers,’ they added. 

‘Especially ones who aren’t MAGA to begin with.’

Anderson has been on the scene since at least September, when Daily Mail revealed she’s been on an intimate brunch date with Don Jr. where the pair were seen kissing. She is also friends with Don Jr.’s ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, and has been pictured at family gatherings.  

The Palm Beach socialite was even in a video that Don Jr.’s eldest child posted.

Kai Trump, 17, posted to her TikTok in August a video of her verbally committing to play golf at the University of Miami.

She was joined by five other people in the video. Four of whom were Kai’s friends and the fifth was Anderson, who danced alongside the teenagers to the song It’s All About the U by Uncle Luke.
