New Trailer Explores the Real Lives of Kidfluencers: “Born to be Viral” delves into the challenges and successes of young influencers.

Curious about the ins and outs of creating family content? Delve into the world of family content creation with ABC News Studios’ recent venture, “Born to be Viral: The Real Lives of Kidfluencers.”

The show tracks the lives of the Fisher family, renowned influencer Like Nastya, upcoming kid influencer Ethan Rodriguez, and the McClure family, whose twins Ava and Alexis ranked as top Kidfluencers by Forbes.

The series provides a glimpse into the world of kids who have grown up in the social media realm, where their daily lives are shared with millions and some lucky ones garner substantial wealth. Filmed across a span of five years, with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of prominent creators, this project offers an intimate look at the realities faced by kid influencers and their families. To what extent will these families go in their quest for likes and followers? And in the future, will the sacrifices made be deemed worthwhile by these young individuals?

At the beginning of the trailer, seen in the video player above, the Fisher family’s Kyler Steven Fisher tells the cameras that “There are some days where we could pay for an entire college career in one day.”

Over the course of the trailer, we see some staged moments and some authentic content, where one child talks about having to do videos when they don’t really want to.

And then we see the McClure family face a harsh reality, getting messages from an adult male saying things like “please keep her safe, she’s my future wife” about one of the young daughters.

The first two episodes of “Born to be Viral: The Real Lives of Kidfluencers” premiere on Freeform June 23rd. The entire series streams on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ July 8.
