A SUSPECT is in custody after a possible security threat at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Saturday.
Passengers were hit with delays after a ground stop, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

One person was taken into custody as passengers were taken off the plane and sent back to the terminal for additional security screening.
All flights to SEA Airport were also ordered to be held at their origin, according to a report from FlightAware.
The FAA said there are “gate hold and taxi delays between 16 minutes and 30 minutes in length and increasing.”
Travelers are being warned to check with their airline for flight status.
The Port of Seattle Police and Fire Departments are currently looking into an incident related to an aircraft on the 16R/34L runway, as stated in a post on the airport’s Facebook page.
The exact nature of the threat is unclear at this time.
As of 1:00 pm, flights that were supposed to arrive at SEA were either circling or being diverted to other airports.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to the FAA and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for comment.
