The collision caused the Buick Regal to hit a Chevrolet Silverado, which was heading eastbound on Black Road.
The Joliet Fire Department promptly transferred the Buick Regal’s driver to St. Joseph Medical Center, where he was tragically declared deceased. As of now, his identity has not been made public.
The female driver of the Buick Encore, a 68-year-old from Joliet, along with her companion, a 69-year-old woman from Lake Station, Indiana, were also rushed to the same medical facility in critical condition following the accident.
