When Brittany Mahomes knows what she wants, she makes it happen.
At age 29, Mahomes achieved the extraordinary by placing a rush order for a custom Prada puffer jacket to sport at the upcoming Kansas City Chiefs game on December 15. The jacket, which cost ,150 and was intricately crafted by Lefty’s Right Mind, boasted a nude exterior adorned with silver thread detailing “Mahomes” on one pocket and “Kansas City Chiefs” on the lower back. Supporting her husband Patrick Mahomes at the game, Brittany exhibited her impeccable taste by complementing the outfit with matching nude Prada earmuffs priced at 5.
After the designing chaos subsided, Lefty’s Right Mind CEO and founder Danielle Becker opened up to People about the “whirlwind” process of making the custom coat in time for the game. “It started as a no-rush project, but once Brittany fell in love with the mood board I had designed, it became all hands on deck,” she said.
“I had just 48 hours to ideate, design, execute and ship in time for Sunday’s game. The concept came together within one hour — between an Uber ride and a train into the city. I went for a classic varsity jacket style but with a tonal holiday aesthetic.” Becker continued, noting Brittany’s stylist, Margot Zamet, quickly approved the design and it was immediately “finalized and off to the embroiderer.”
Brittany contrasted the light hue of the coat with a black top and leather pants.
Brittany’s glam was just as showstopping as her fit, as she donned a full beat including foundation, filled-in eyebrows, blushed and contoured cheeks, long lashes and glossy lips. Her blonde hair was parted down the middle and styled in a bouncy blowout.
The Chiefs ended up defeating the Cleveland Browns in a final score of 21 to 7. The Mahomes family is slaying and winning, per usual!
