The Labubu Craze Is Taking Over!

The buzz around Labubu is intense, with POP MART struggling to meet the demand as resellers capitalize on the trend. It may seem like a sudden phenomenon, but Labubu dolls have actually been around for some time. Originating from the creative mind of Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung and originally part of the “Monster Little” universe by POP MART, Labubu’s recent explosion in popularity can be largely attributed to its viral presence on TikTok.
Thanks to TikTok, Labubu has become a must-have collectible, fueling a craze that shows no signs of slowing down. With the help of social media, Labubu has found its way into the hearts of fans worldwide, turning casual collectors into passionate devotees eager to add these adorable monsters to their own collections.

Some psychotherapists claim that the popularity is driven by the fact that these little guys are hard to find creating a desire to participate in the trend, which makes the hunt just as important as the Labubu itself. And then add the excitement of the blind boxes where you don’t know which Labubu you’re going to get, and thus, a craze is born.
